Discovering her magic
Mireya is one of the most unique people you'll meet. Some people say they're smart, or cruel, or ambitious, but Mireya does not identify as anything. She has a complex character that's hard to completely figure out. She's humorous and charismatic with friends, but quiet and intimidating at first glance. She is creative and witty but doesn't really know how to implement those qualities into something beneficial. You could say Mireya is just a confused happy-go-lucky girl who's still trying to find her path in life and what she's meant to do.
In a nutshell, though, she's a girl that's for herself half the time and for everyone else the other half. She likes her alone time and likes to be alone with her thoughts, but then she'll want to see her friends and family and do anything with them as long as they're together. She's independent, but she loves the people close to her and wants to do everything she can for them. As mentioned before, she also loves learning and is a creative soul, but sometimes lacks the physical energy to really do anything about it. She may seem lazy, but be assured that there's a brilliant mind and a bundle of energy hiding behind the resting bitch face.
Mireya is a half-blood witch, born to a wizard father and Muggle mother in London. She is of Japanese and French descent, with her father being Japanese. Although her father wanted her to attend his alma mater, Mahoutokoro, he eventually decided that Mireya should attend the school of her own home country instead.
Mireya's name was the result of a compromise — a combination of the Japanese name Miyana and the French name Marie. Likewise, she grew up in a culturally diverse household, perfectly enjoying the two cultures of her parents. She had one foot in the Muggle world and one foot in the wizard world, as her parents strived to integrate the two into her life. Alongside getting her first phone, she also received her first spellbook and broom. She had an extremely happy childhood. At the age of seven, she displayed the first signs of magic when her father planted flowers in the yard. Fascinated, she plucked one of the premature stems - only to have it bloom into a gorgeous rose in her palms. Her parents were delighted.
When the time came to attend school, she was apprehensive at first about attending Hogwarts but has loved the past three years of being under the professors' tutelage. She is now a fourth year and anticipates the rest of the years to come.
