"How do you imagine Lisbeth would feel about you taking unnecessary risks like this Owen? I'll say it one final time...stay here where we can put forth diplomatic efforts to attempt to help. We can even try to help those leaving and invite them here. You can lead that effort if it will make you feel useful."

Let me know what you find and if all this really is as bad as it seems. Hopefully the worst of it is just propaganda." She'd give him a quick but tight hug. "...and be careful. It would hurt me deeply if something happened to you and then the British government really would have something to be afraid of."

Maybe it was the mother in her but it was almost physically painful to watch him doing this...almost like sending a child off to war. She knew how talented and prepared he was...but she was still worried it wouldn't be enough.
