Peter is the youngest of the four Adair children, born to a Swiss mother and English father, the result of an arranged marriage in order to keep the bloodline pure. He followed his oldest brothers, Arthur and Felix, and his twin, who is older by three minutes, Phyllis. As the children grew up, their parents tried to instill the belief that Pure Bloods were the most superior magical beings, and deserved to be the most powerful. They wanted pure blood wizards to be the only magical species, and tried to force their children to think the same.
Peter's childhood would likely seem perfect from the outside. He grew up in a wealthy family, receiving everything he asked for. His parents seemed to care for him and his siblings. He lived the perfect life, so why shouldn't he be happy? Though it seemed like his parents cared about the children, they really only cared about spreading their beliefs and furthering their agenda. Anything given to the children was more of a bribe, rather than just trying to make the kids happy. Peter never felt that his parents really cared about the well being of the children, and while he still loves them dearly (for some reason), he grew much closer with his siblings. While Arthur seemed to follow more in the footsteps of his parents, being kind of an arrogant ass, Peter still looked up to him. He knew what he wanted and knew how to get it, and Peter admired that. They never grew close at all, and was even bullied by him, but Peter still holds a place for Arthur in his heart. Felix and Phyllis, however, became his best friends. Since they were all around the same age, they got along really well, and really shared the most love within the family. While they bought more into their parents beliefs than he himself did, he truly loves them for who they are. They are just misguided by their parents, but really are good people, and Peter sees that.
Though Peter wanted to avoid the attention from his parents, he received a lot more than his siblings did because of his early signs of magic. When he was five, he loved this story that had a werewolf in it, but, obviously, his parents disapproved so they took the book, tearing it into pieces. However, when they went back to Peter, he had some how managed to repair the book to perfect condition. They continued to destroy it, but somehow, peter managed to repair it every time, no matter it's condition prior. His parents were beyond excited that one of their children had finally shown some magical ability, using his experience to berate his siblings. If the youngest could have magic, then all the others should by now as well.A moment that should've been special and meaningful to Peter was turned into a way to make his siblings fell bad about themselves.
When Peter was 11, his parents decided that he was ready to go of to school to spread the purity of their family at Hogwarts.Peter had just told his parents whatever they wanted to hear to make them happy, though he never truly believed a single thing he said. However, since they didn't know that, they sent him off anyway, thinking he was ready. Unfortunately, they didn't believe the rest of his siblings were ready, so he had to venture across the world by himself. He was scared, nervous, but also a little excited. This would be the first time he'd get to see the world without the negativity of his family.
At first, he had trouble making friends. So many of the people here were the people his parents told him he had to hate. But why? Most of them were so nice. Many of them were smarter and better at magic than he was . So why were they inferior? He wanted to befriend them, but he was scared of what his family would think. He was also scared that these people would find out what his family was like, and instantly think he was the same way. He wanted nothing more to make a few friends and show that he wasn't an ass like the rest of his family. Thankfully, one day, he was approached by an interesting girl. Arielle. She instantly made him feel welcome, making him forget all his worries. From then on, the two were inseparable and became the best of friends. She helped him increase his confidence and was able to help him make friends with people from all different races. Something his parents would kill him for.
Now in his third year, Peter has both Felix and Phyllis with him at Hogwarts. He couldn't be happier to have them with him, but is worried again that people will judge them for the way the were raised. His goal now is to show people that they really are good deep down, no matter what they may say.
