Victoria Blaisdel is a well-known business tycoon in the Muggle world. She single-handedly created a fashion empire that became a famous brand of clothing all over the United States of America. She was young, smart, innovative, but can be a little aggressive and brash. At age 30, she became one of the richest women in the world because of her success in her craft. However, she remained single and alone. This would all change though after meeting Christiano Santibañez, a Spanish wizard whom she'll fall head-over-heels in love with. They would later have a fling, and a child, but unknown to Victoria, Christiano was already married to another witch, and that she had just become a mistress without intentionally trying to be. This broke Victoria's heart and she sent Christiano away, not wanting to hear anything from him ever again.
Victoria soon gave birth to a healthy baby girl whom she named Poppy. As a child, Poppy was spoilt immensely and was given everything she wanted and asked for. Because of this, she developed a certain attitude and became stand-offish and prideful. Since her mother was unaware of Poppy's magical heritage through her father, she was sent to Muggle primary school as a child. There, she would be teased because she didn't have a father, something she took very personally. She cried about it for days after deciding that she wouldn't just let others bully her, and in turn, became a bully herself. After that, she would try to look for her father and would ask her mother questions, but didn't answer her. Victoria became increasingly busy and had less time with Poppy, something that the child gradually took to heart as she grew older.
At age ten, Poppy was kidnapped and held for ransom. Her mother was extremely worried, but it turned out that she didn't have to be. Poppy exhibited her first signs of magic and was able to knock out her lone captor, the policemen arriving afterwards and finding her perfectly fine. When her mother asked her what happened, she told her about it, but Victoria had a hard time believing it. She soon received her first letter from Ilvermorny, which shocked the mother-daughter tandem. Victoria concluded that Christiano must have been a wizard, and that's where Poppy inherited her abilities. Poppy was ecstatic to have gotten her letter and immediately set off for school, where she was sorted to Thunderbird. Poppy was also excited because she felt more closer to her father than ever before, and she wanted to find him.
Currently, Poppy is sixteen years old, still haven't found her father, but has conquered the school in her own right. She popular, well infamous is the more correct term, really, and has bunch of minions following her around and ready to her bidding. At the begging of her sixth year though, it was announced that Ilvermorny would be participating in the Triwizard Cup to be held at Hogwarts over at the other side of the Atlantic. She volunteered to be a delegate and would be spending the next academic year over at the United Kingdom.
