Caspian, whilst young and inexperienced, doesn't quite understand why people insist that he's still a child. He thinks himself older than he actually is and acts above everyone his own age. He's much rather spend his time with adults than little kids. One thing he is sensitive about is Daisy and can be quite protective of her whenever she's brought up. Whilst he's too young to really understand the weight behind what he says, and this will probably get worse as he grows up, part of him feels as if it should have been Daisy to have survived. He knows he's not as smart as his parents, and academics have never really interested him, and what interests him more is fashion and aesthetics. Right now, he's loving the black with a touch of colour but this will develop more as he grows older. Caspian loves villains, though, especially Hades from Disney's Hercules, and often tries to impersonate them even though he could never actually hurt anyone. It's the attitude and the drama of it all that interests him. He likes keeping people on their toes. He just needs to have a growth spurt to make sure people actually take him seriously. He's lucky he looks older than most his age.
Caspian was the first of the next generation royals-not that anyone ever intended this to occur. His father, Theo, and mother, Princess Charlotte, met during their final year of Hogwarts after the Spencer's moved across the ocean from the United States. What came next was something neither of them truly expected. A drunken one night stand that resulted in pregnancy. Who would have thought, right? Naturally, with Charlotte being a princess and second in line at the time, the royal family worked fast and soon Theo and Charlie were walking down the aisle. Neither of them disliked the other, of course, they did quite like each other but they didn't know each other. Not enough to marry. Everything was rushed. Maybe the stress of everything was what caused it. The death of Daisy. She was a still birth whilst Caspian, her twin brother, was the survivor. This was the start of the end. Charlie and Theo never turned to grief-driven hate but they drifted. Theo threw himself into work at St. Mungos. He couldn't help his family, but he could help everyone else to make up for it all. Charlie was busying herself with him. Soon. they were applying for divorce. It was for the better-Charlie met Scarlett and soon married. Theo was still content with his work. But they remained friends enough that soon they moved on and became best friends. Enough that Theo accepted to be the 'father' to Scarlett and Charlie's children.
Growing up, Caspian was always considerably older than his siblings and whilst the older sibling nature might have been nurtured into him, instead he was spoilt rotten. He had every support the world could give him. Emotional and financial support. He'd argue otherwise, but he was (and still is) a mother's boy and was especially close with Charlotte. He was close with Theo but Caspian found it difficult trying to get Theo out of his head for long. Caspian could tell, even as a young boy, there was a wall between Theo and the rest of the world. A wall that only recently seems to have come down. He was five years old when he had his first magical incident. His hair braided itself after watching someone's hair be braided. He didn't have a lot of hair at that age but he had a small braid by the end of it. His upbringing was rather uneventful bar coming to terms with the loss of his sister. It took him a small moment to truly understand the weight of Daisy. She never really died, her presence was all around them, like a ghost. Now, he's waiting for the day he can board the train to Hogwarts, assuming he'll very much go into Ravenclaw considering both his parents were.
