The Rear Hall is a large open hall accessible via a corridor leading from the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor's office. It is carpeted, and bookshelves cover the walls. There are also several paintings in this room. The Fat Lady's portrait is near here, just up the stone steps and through the wooden doors.

Lucy trailed down the hall attired in all red, from the accent of her robes, strawberry-shaped earrings in her ears, and even had a cherry-flavored lollipop in her mouth to match. The candy, in fact, wasn't from a trip she took to the candy store, but from a fellow student who was curious in a tarot reading. The reading was fast and easy, but Lucy slightly regretted the waste of time when he only paid her the piece of candy in return (especially since cherry wasn't even her favorite flavour). Yet, suppose she felt a little bad for him. She was getting clear vibes that he was nervous about a future event and that was why he asked for the reading. Lucy was empathetic enough to not dwell on it. Without anyone to accompany her for the moment, her focus followed each painting she passed, twirling the stick of the lollipop as she observed.

Huh, so that was completely useless. he'd think as said event - failure - didn't happen yesterday, as she foresaw it to be. As he sat there pondering this very thing, he'd see her standing and overlooking the area he and his sister were sitting in. "Hello Lucy." He'd give her something of a dry smile, which usually wasn't his style - but he's been doing that a lot as of late, because what better way was there to make friends but smiling at them? But he didn't really care for Gyffindors though, truthfully, he had heard about them before and thought of them as jocks - and jocks had truthfully, never been kind to him much at his muggle school. Unlike some Slytherins, he didn't hate them based on their mutual school enmity though, but because of the things he had heard about them.

Lucy had a tingly feeling someone was looking at her, but didn't move her gaze until hearing her name. "Oh, Dylan. Hello." She recognized the boy from a few different places, but mostly as a fellow classmate. "How are you?" she asked, making her way over to him and another girl next to him.

"Good enough." His sister wouldn't say anything as she was busy chatting with a friend about something girly no doubt. "Hogwarts is a interesting place, I think, don't you think so? We both attended Ilverymory, if I'm correct, I do remember you as a Wampus student that supposedly told people their futures.' He'd say this rather matter of factly kind of way, as it was, because to him, it was the truth. Truth wasn't implied to be the kindness of thing in the world, as it so happened.

"Supposedly?" That was the only word that rang in Lucy's ears, knowing way too well this kid had no right questioning her fortune-telling. "I can help people see into their futures with out a doubt. No supposedly about it." After the quick snap back, she went back to her smiley self and moved on. Lucy wasn't one to hold a grudge. Or, at least, she didn't often show people if she had a grudge over them. "... but yeah. I've been liking Hogwarts a lot. I think even more than Ilvermorny, and definitely Beauxbatons."
