Rowan doesn't care much for his appearance and as a result always looks a little disheveled. His hair is almost always messy, he always forgets to clean his glasses so they're always smudgy, and he tends to stick to the same basic attire, varying only in color. Amelie Hall and Ryder Cressley had a long and tumultuous story before finally confessing their feelings for one another and becoming official. After the two soulmates lived together for a couple years in an apartment near Ryder's diner, the Retro, both of them got tired of their life in the UK and Ryder suggested moving to America. There, both of them got the fresh start that they wanted, and were never happier. After a year of adjusting to their new home, they decided to have a child together. Enter Rowan.
Rowan had a very happy childhood. He's incredibly close with both of his parents. Amelie was the sweetest person on this planet, and he knew that as long as she's around he would be safe. Growing up, she would read him stories every night, and now reading is one of his greatest passions. Ryder was Rowan's best friend. He taught him how to play guitar and sometimes card games – while Ryder's really good at them, Rowan developed a love for mathematics and statistics and has finally learned how to beat him. When Rowan was seven, his parents woke him up in the middle of the night and had a Vegas wedding, the happiest moment so far in Rowan's life.
Rowan's first sign of magic came as early as six years old, after Amelie read Matilda to him and he started making all the objects around the house float. By the time he was eleven, he received both an acceptance letter from Hogwarts and Salem's, and his parents made the choice to finally return to the UK for the sake of Rowan's education. Now, he's a Ravenclaw, and incredibly eager to learn.

To put it simply, Rowan's kind of a nerd. He has a passion for learning that simply cannot be put out. He tends to obsess over each and every minuscule detail of even the most seemingly useless topics. He tends to fixate on certain subjects until he's exhausted them, never content with knowing only the bare minimum when it comes to any field.
While Rowan is very polite, he's also kind of shy and soft-spoken (unless it comes to academic competition). He's always afraid of offending people and as a result is conscious of everything he says, and knows that it's best to keep quiet rather than let something mean slip out of his mouth. 9D9171

His Parents Rowan and his dad are thick as thieves. Ryder was the spark for many of Rowan's current interests. Ro loves playing the guitar because his dad taught him. He's into Math and statistics because of all the card games they'd play. Rowan is his dad's biggest fan and supporter – he looks up to him more than anyone else in the world. On the other hand, Rowan's mom makes him feel safe. Whenever she's around, he has a warm feeling in his heart that reassures him that nothing could possibly go wrong. The two of them like reading books together quietly in the same room, and she takes him to libraries and museums whenever they have a free day. Agatha Bishop Rowan doesn't care much for Flootube but Agatha's channel is one he watches every once in a while. Well, now he watches practically every new upload because they're friends and he knows she'd kill him if she knew otherwise. A lot of people in their year seem to think she's incredibly pretty and worth falling head over heels for, but the idea of there being anything even the least bit romantic happening between the two is... gross. Besides, if things go sour between them, then there's no way she'll help him escape from the wicker man if they get caught by the druids in the village they intend to find.
