Cicely was a regular at this gym, coming here every other morning. Well, sometimes lunch time. Depends if she was hung over or not. That morning, though, she was at top form. Eight in the morning and was just beginning her workout. Dressed in a tank and leggings, Cicely was doing pull ups on a bar, pulling herself up and down with ease, whilst blasting music through a pair of gold headphones. They were expensive and it had been a splurge for Christmas. She had spent it alone so she decided to treat herself. It had been a few weeks since her night with Esme and Cicely hadn't called, even if she had promised too. It was something Cicely was prone to do. Hit and run was her motto. Was it fair? Maybe not but Cicely didn't really care. She didn't know Esme enough to take the other into consideration. So Cicely went on with her life and might have had a few more one night stands in the mean time. Life was fine. It was good.

Ever since Cicely failed to get in contact with Esme, she seemed to have an entered an eternally scowly mood. She knew she should've gotten her number as well, but the other promised to call her, so she didn't bother anymore. Big mistake. Now she's here at the gym, trying to wash her sorrows away by doing an intense work out. She's been here for five consecutive days now, but have done all of her prior sessions in the afternoon, this being the first time she went to the gym in the morning. Oblivious to Cicely's presence, Esmeralda hopped onto the treadmill for one last bout of cardio before she left for the day. She had wireless earpods on, listening mostly to EDM.

Cicely noticed Esme in the mirror almost instantly. So caught up in the strain of working out, Cicely was caught up in her own world that she only looked into the mirror when she dropped back down onto the ground. Her eyes fell onto the Esme in the mirror for the simple fact that Cicely swore the girl look familiar and it was only after she stood there staring for a few moments, not quite able to see the girl's face, that she realised who it was. Shit. Cicely hated running into flings afterwards. Either they were angry or they thought they could convince Cicely to give them another try. Either way–Not Cicely's thing. Realising the other didn't see her, or maybe she was just being ignored, Cicely decided to just grab her things and go. She wasn't running–Cicely had been here for ages and it was high time she pulled this to an end. No, Cicely definitely wasn't running. Walking into the changing rooms, she headed to the lockers.

Midway into beginning her session, Esme noticed that her jug was missing, and remembered that she left it in the locker room where she went to right after her last workout and before the treadmill. She had to grab a new towel from her bag because her first one was soaked, and she accidentally left her jug there. Annoyed, she hopped back down and headed towards that direction to retrieve it. As she walked in, she immediately spotted Cicely, and her mood turned more sour than it already was. "You," she uttered, seething as she stood a short distance from the other girl.

Cicely froze at the voice before turning around with a smile, taking a deep breath. Cicely could see the other wasn't too impressed with her. "Esmerelda," Cicely said, her voice cool and controlled. "I didn't know you were here," she continued before her eyes flicked up and down–blatantly checking the other out. "Looking good, by the way."

Esme rolled her eyes aggressively at the "compliment" before uttering out, "Go to hell!" She quickly turned around and made her way out of the locker room, just to put some distance between them. She was clearly angry.

"I'm already there," Cicely mumbled under her breath. Cicely wasn't stupid–she could see the other girl was practically fuming and Cicely didn't need to think too hard to realise why she would be. However, the question was–does Cicely follow after her? Her publicist would want her too. Wouldn't want some girl to start mouthing off to a magazine for money or something like that. Most ethical people would point out it's better to walk after her. However, Cicely wasn't sure if she should. Easier to stay away, wasn't it? To let it all be and for it to disappear into disappoint memory? However...even when they initially had met, Cicely could tell Esmerelda was different. Why? Cicely wasn't sure. But it scared her. Enough that she never followed up. Huffing to herself, Cicely followed Esmerelda out of the locker room. "For some reason I feel like you're mad at me."

Esme scoffed, stopping in her tracks before turning to face Cicely. "Seriously? I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, or if you're playing me again, but I think it's pretty obvious that I don't want to do anything with you, and why I'm that way." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest, her words laced with anger as she spoke with a frown. Esmeralda was indeed fuming, and some might think it's pretty petty for her to be this way when she could just move on, but what they don't know is that this was her way of moving on. It's gonna take time, that's just how she is, but she knows she could do it. Except maybe now, because a wrench has just been slammed against her plans, and she finds herself reeling once again after encountering Cicely.

"Hey, look, I get it. I didn't call, bad move on my part," Cicely said with a one sided shrug. "I was busy and I lost track of time. I could try make it up to you? If you want?" Maybe Cicely didn't want to cause a scene in the middle of a gym, or just wanted to help save her name. Or maybe some part of Cicely actually felt bad. Who knew why she was suggesting it. "I know a great place downtown."

Although Felix had his own mini gym set up at his home and could happily spend his time as the proprietor of Ryu Better Work, he liked being amongst the customers and offering services as a personal trainer. It wasn't until he won the lottery that he was able to kick back and relax and, to him, that felt a little weird - boring. Deciding to lift some weights, he was largely oblivious to all of those around him as he focused on trying to beat his personal best.

With Ryu Better Work opening up, Adonis finally had a gym he could go to while Hogwarts was open. Everything else was either too dingy or too out of the way, but from the looks of things this gym met all the requirements Adonis had. That and he heard the owner was pretty hot which was a big plus as well. As far as first impressions go the gym was off to a good start and Adonis liked the equipment. Having been at the gym for a little over an hour now, he was starting to wined down with easier workouts. The one he was doing currently was a chest press situated right beside Felix.

When he had finished doing his weightlifting, having demolished his personal best and thus feeling pretty good about himself, Felix looked around before settling on watching Adonis. If anything, he was just being nosy and people watching because he could, but Adonis was easy on the eyes and that made all the difference.

Adonis wasn't the most muscular guy at the gym, Felix took that medal for sure, but he was able to do a lot more reps and sets than some may think just looking at him. While in the middle of a lift, Adonis saw Felix looking at him out of the corner of his eye and wanted to show off a bit. Pushing himself to do even more reps, Adonis eventually had to put the weights down and take a deep breath.

Felix, truthfully, didn't quite know what to expect from Adonis. Sure, the guy didn't look muscular, but Felix knew from personal experience that you can always do more than people give you credit for. Thus, though he was pleasantly surprised when he saw how many reps Adonis did, he wasn't wholly visibly impressed and instead flashed an inviting smile. Though he wasn't adverse to slipping his name to cute guys, Felix had a bit more self-respect than to do it in his own establishment.

Ideally Adonis would have been able to go a bit longer, but he didn't want to snap his arm so it was best for him to swallow his pride. After catching his breath, Adonis stood up and stretched his muscles a bit to relieve any tension that could be left over. Seeing Felix flash a smile at him was a good sign, and Adonis subconsciously did the same.

Seeing Adonis smile back, to Felix, was an open invitation. Still, he enough self-respect to not go straight to a flirtatious conversation so, when he approached the younger, he nodded subtly down at the weights, "That's an impressive amount to lift." He figured an exercise oriented conversation would lend itself well to being transitioned into something else.

As Felix started towards Adonis, he couldn't help but feel a little nervous for some reason. Perhaps it was the size of the other male, Adonis wasn't too sure himself. At the lighthearted conversation starter, Adonis continued to smile confidently. It was a nice compliment that Adonis wouldn't mind hearing again. "You think?" He started off casually, "I figure that's probably light compared to what you're used to."

Adonis followed Felix's eyes when he looked over at the weight he was able to life, sure it may not have been a lot for some but like Felix said, Adonis had made a lot of progress since he first started working out and he was proud. "It didn't actually take too long for me to get to this point to be honest, but I can promise you my body is going to be sore tomorrow from it." He said with a bit of a laugh before extending his hand out to Felix. "My name's Adonis, by the way."

Adonis was shocked finding out Felix was the owner, had he known he was the entire conversation thus far he would have been a lot nervous. "Wait you're the owner of the gym?" He asked despite already knowing the answer. Deciding to get a bit fliratious, as was his nature, Adonis replaced his shock with a more calm and collected expression. Granted yes, Adonis most likely should have shared his age with Felix, truthfully it had slipped his mind. But in the same breath he saw little reason to given he was sixteen and was old enough to make the decision for himself.
