Acacius and Jaeyong[]
Acacius Jeon
Chilling in one of the chairs in the lobby, Acacius was busying himself with his Nintendo Switch. The annoying thing about living on a Wizard island is, you can't connect to muggle Wi-Fi, meaning Acacius was left to play solo Super Smash Bros rounds against a computer, which he had already bested millions of times. He acknowledges that it's better nothing, continuing to jam buttons while he waits for Chanyeo to finish practice already and come downstairs. They had been planning to hang out for awhile now, but hadn't found time. And now that they did, Acacius was going mad waiting. Where is he?

Leo and Jaeyong had planned a meeting during the monthly Hogwarts trip to Lincliff City. Jaeyong knew of Leo's busy occupation, and treasured any chance to hang out with his hyung. Jovially, he walks through the doors of the imposing records building. Suddenly, he stops. It's taken only 4.3 seconds for Jaeyong to realize that Acacius is also here. Biting his lip, he's thinking of whether or not they should interact. After all, he's mostly viewed Acacius from afar last year. Who knows if he'd be willing to talk to him? Deciding it was now or never, Jaeyong decides to plop down next to Acacius. "Hyung! You didn't tell me you graduated!" Of course, that was a lie. But it made for a good conversation starter. |

Acacius, absorbed in his own world of Super Smash Bros and drowning everything that wasnt his switch and Chanyeo, jumped in surprise at hearing Jaeyong's voice. He swung his legs off the side of his chair and looked at Jaeyong, masking the surprise in his face at seeing him. "I did graduate..." he said slowly, wondering why Jaeyong was approaching him about this. He didn't know Jaeyong very well to be completely honest. He was mostly just Leo's little brother to him, and the kid that changed his grade in Potions because... Well, he forgot the reason but that's irrelevant. "I didn't think you'd really want to know. Or well, would have noticed," he continued.

Oh, okay! Off to a good start. Jaeyong can't help but to be outwardly pleased at himself. Ugh, he's so good. Beaming, he says, "Of course I would've noticed! You graduated the same year hyung did, so!" He's positively filled to the brim with uwus. "You looked very handsome graduating, by the way. Oh!" At the corner of his eye, he notices Acacius' game. "I remember seeing some really good cheats for that game!" Hopefully, Acacius will find him helpful! |

Acacius cocks an eyebrow, wondering why Jaeyong is smiling so brightly at him. Did he do something? He's not gonna lie, being recognized simply because he was in the same year as Leo didn't make him feel too good, especially because he felt pretty invisible already. And that's not even taking account of the bullies who seemed to be the only people who payed attention to him. "Um... I wasn't in Leo's year," Acacius mumbled, unless Jaeyong had some other hyung that Acacius didn't know about. At the compliment, he blinks, simply not used to it. He only ever gets compliments (to his face, at least) when Chanyeo is teasing him or Riot is feeling sentimental. "Uh... I did?" he asked. "Thanks...." He looks back to his switch when Jaeyong points out his game, and twitches a little, because he's not the type to cheat. He values his real skill, since it's one of the few things he actually has in his opinion. "Thank you," Acacius said awkwardly, eyes scanning the lobby for Chanyeo. This was so awkward, how did he get here again? "Um, I don't really like cheating though."

Jaeyong lapses into silence, kinda embarrassed by his behavior. Oh no, what should I do now? He kinda hopes that Leo will come out and save him. There's that one-beat-longer second of silence that instantly makes everything more awkward. And Jaeyong is forced to accept that he has to crawl himself out of the mess that he created. "Oh. I thought you were, since you guys hanged out a lot!" Ah, there's that wrong grammar and slight stutter. Ugh, get yourself together Jaeyong! "But I did go to your graduation. I must've mixed the two up! You really did look handsome..." He trails off, before quickly launching into conversation again. Damage control. "Well, I really don't play myself. But I did see some gameplay videos on Flootube talking about cheats. It looks pretty cool without them, though. You must love playing!" If someone were to come in here and shoot Avada Kedavra at him, he wouldn't even move away from the spell! |

The awkward silence is awkward, but Acacius, is already focused on his game, doesn't find it as bad as Jaeyong does. In fact, he continues talking to the other like that, head turned away and eyes focused on his switch. He's still a little lost on why Leo's little brother is talking to him, especially since they were never close and Jaeyong wouldn't have a reason to talk to him once he graduated—but oh well, nothing he could do about it now. "Oh... Makes sense, I guess," he murmurs, jamming buttons on his switch. He only noticed the stutter, and not the incorrect use of grammar, but if he had, he certainly would've cringed at it. Jaeyong's second bit catches Acacius' attention though, and he pauses his game to look back up at the other. "You... went to my graduation?" he asked, softly. He offers a gentle smile, thinking he should probably be considerate. "Thank you," he starts out. "But you didn't have to do that," he finishes politely, despite the subtle connotation of his words. He's a little taken aback when Jaeyong continues, noting how eager the other seems to try and make conversation with him. He glances around Jaeyong at the elevator, and upon not seeing Chanyeo, he decides it wouldn't hurt to keep talking to Jaeyong. "I do... love playing," he trailed off, then he had a thought. "Um... Do you wanna try?"
