Recording Studio B
This is one of the top notch, state of the art, recording studios within the building. While there are several throughout the building, the main two are often regarded for the most important and often most busy artists under the label. Much work goes on in here to compose, arrange, write lyrics, and record.

Caspian and Milan[]
What is this, the fifth hiatus Caspian has taken this year? To be completely fair, this one isn't official. Well actually, only one of his hiatuses this year have been official, but he's been taking a lot of breaks recently. It is true he's pretty deep in his career and everything (it has been almost an entire decade since his first release, after all), but this year has felt like constant breaks in between one or two song releases. The thing is, Caspian's mental is kind of like... fading. He can't remember the last time he's felt genuinely okay and not on the verge of collapse, and his therapist says he needs to spend more time with friends and family but like... Caspian has no friends or family. Okay, that's a lie, Taeyoon is literally down the street, but besides him, he talks to like no one, ever. All his old friends pretty much cut all ties with him (to be fair, most of his old friends were related to his ex, who did not take kindly to being dumped—sorry), and industry friends and actual friends are completely different people. So, yeah. Caspian is frustrated, spinning around in his chair in Recording Studio B, chewing on a pen cap and wishing his computer would just... make a track up or something. How is he going to have endless inspiration from constantly being depressed but he can't make one good melody?
No offense, but all of his hyungs and Seungbeom have been falling flat for the past couple of months. Milan gets that they're busy and all, but Letus isn't really Letus if they're not all producing. It gets annoying when Gabriel bails because he wants to go on a date with Chanyeo (cause let's be real, the annoying idol probably begged for one). Also, Seungbeom doesn't need that much time to see Leo or Erik or whomever he's decided to date this time. Senna is nice to be with, but even he has cited wanting a break. Okay then, lmao. Milan can produce just fine on his own. Silencio hired him (and just him) to record a few tracks in hopes of finding something they liked. With several hit songs already under his belt, Milan thinks that this should be easy enough. He strolls into his favorite studio at Silencio to continue work on stuff he's already been working on. However, he quickly realizes that the studio is occupied. Ah. It's Aisha's cousin. Ugh, he doesn't want to share the studio with a has-been flop. "Caspian Choi, right? Sorry, but this studio is in use. If you don't mind." Hopefully Caspian gets the message to leave. |
Okay, okay, so like... people talk. And the moment Caspian hears the door unlock and sees Milan step inside the studio from the corner of his eye, internally, he groans. Milan is kind of infamous for being a little bit more than frustrating to like, interact with in general. Sure, he's a great producer and definitely fantastic at his job, but dude, he's really got an attitude problem. The few times Caspian has had to work with him, have never been fun times, and the stories about him are numerous. Caspian's pretty sure the only reason Silencio hasn't blacklisted him is because he's freakishly good at his job. Even then though, Caspian would've kicked him out in a heartbeat. Or maybe that's just the depressive episode talking, he doesn't really know. Caspian spins around in his chair and sits up, making it quite clear on his face he's not happy to see Milan. "Yeah, I know. It's in use by me, genius," he sighs, resting his head on his palm. "Do you even check the door before walking in? The space is reserved all afternoon." Caspian already knows the answer to this question (you'd be surprised how much he hears about this), but he had to ask regardless.
Apparently, all of those concerts seemed to have taken a toll on Caspian's hearing. Milan isn't shy about begging, but things like that is best saved for the bedroom. He has no idea how he's going to force Caspian out, but all he knows is that he wants Caspian out. He wishes Aisha was here to help, though a small part of him was sure his boyfriend would chatise him for being 'rude'. Tch, whatever that is. "Taeji hyung, I was here first. I was here all morning, and I was hoping you'd be understanding enough to let me stay." The without you part was unspoken but very much implied by his tone. Not to be mean or anything, but Caspian was known for having a few loose screws. It seemed to run in the family too, with rumours of his twin being the biggest loser known to humanity. Of course, that would explain Caspian's look of disdain on his face. Ugh. Asshole. Lukas Karlsson could release a song featuring only silence and it would outsell Caspian's new album in less than ten seconds. Who is Caspian to be so rude towards him? Plus, any of the songs that Milan is working on right now could end up on Caspian's new album. He wouldn't be so rude if Milan was him. "I didn't, because I was under the impression that you wouldn't show up, in fact. Not the first time for you, right? I'm working on my genius, so I'd appreciate it if you could be cooperative." Rolling his eyes, he plops down on a studio chair. Oh, well. He's going to work if he wants to. |
It's been five seconds, and Caspian is already developing a migraine. Merlin, he forgot just how fucking annoying Milan was. Is this contagious? Caspian might leave just to avoid having to contract whatever this asshole ate for breakfast to make him such a big nuisance. He's only vaguely sure that Milan holds some sort of grudge against him (why, he has no idea, Caspian is pretty sure he's a pretty pleasant person when it's not six AM in the morning and he hasn't slept), but it's not like he feels like asking about it either. It's clear, the other was not in the mood to be any sort of cooperative. "Okay, you had the room reserved this morning. I had it reserved this afternoon. And oh, guess what time it is. 2 PM. Learn how to read a clock, Italy," he retorted with a sigh and turn back to his laptop. Milan genuinely wasn't worth his time, and as much as Caspian would admit he's good at his job, that doesn't make up for him being a terrible person or having a stick up his ass in general. He's not exactly sure what Aisha sees in him, because he sees nothing but an empty husk and enough ego to fill a skyscraper.

Is he still talking? If Milan wasn't sure he'd get immediately fired and put on the cover of Wizarding Star, he'd spell Caspian. Opening up his laptop, he's electing to ignore Caspian's annoying ass for now. He has half a mind to get out his phone and complain to Aisha right now, but he doesn't want to seem like a bitch in front of the superstar. Calm and collected, that's how he'll be. He bristles at the nickname, though. Why is Caspian always the one irking him. He really isn't shit. "Learn to fuck off and shut up, has-been flop. I'm likely going to be producing your next album anyway, with your lack of ideas." Silencio admin had been kind enough to email him a list of artists that needed 'help', and Caspian's name had been on it. Surprisingly, but don't tell Caspian that Milan thinks that. Honestly, beyond the being rude to him the first time they ever met, Caspian is actually a really cool artist. Too bad his bad attitude ruined him for Milan. He opens a bag of chips, and starts opening up files. For a minute, it really seems like the two could co-exist in peace. Until Milan's laptop starts blaring at full volume. The satisfied smirk on his face is hard to miss. |
If he wasn't trying to seem like a bitch, he's definitely failed, because anyone could smell it off him from a mile away. There's nothing calm or collected about Milan, and Caspian didn't need a psychology degree to see that. "Really, has-been flop? That all you've got? Or are you so pressed you can't come up with anything original?" Caspian stiffened at the last part, but controlled his body language to avoid picking up any suspicion. How did Milan even know about that? "Uh huh, sure buddy. Whatever satisfies your ego." Honestly, Caspian's not even sure why every time he runs into Milan, it's like the other guy has a stick up his ass, but the times he's bothered to ask have never garnered any legitimate answers. So he just returns the tone now, or he makes it clear how insignificant Milan's opinion is to him. Whatever gets Milan worked up faster. It's a hard contest, honestly, this guy is pretty irritable. Caspian rolled his eyes at the music, and after a minute longer, he finally broke, snapping his fingers to turn it off. "You know, I can report you right? This isn't a scheduling conflict because you never scheduled in the first place, which means I have right to the room. And I'm very sure you know it's a reportable offense to infringe on the time of higher-ups." Caspian doesn't usually pull that card, but he honestly needs to work and Milan is cutting into his time. After all, the studio is booked for the next two weeks with all the comebacks happening in the coming months. "So, you gonna scram or what?"
