Alright, so here's how this system works. Each Character only knows a certain number of spells. Here's how many you can know:

  • 1st Years - 10
  • 2nd Years - 17
  • 3rd Years - 24
  • 4th Years - 31
  • 5th Years - 38
  • 6th Years - 45
  • 7th Years - 52

You can pick the spells from your year or lower, so a second year will have 10 1st Year Spells and a further 7 1st OR 2nd Year Spells. Please keep your spell list on your character page. Table Outline

This table contains all the authorised spells you can choose from. It has what type of spell it is, if it's an offensive or defensive spell, and what it does. For those who want to know, Curses are the most powerful, Hexes are of medium power, and Jinxes are the weakest - so even though a Spell may have "Hex" in the title, if it's low powered, it's classified as a Jinx. You can rearrange the table with the little arrows at the top, so that way you can see all the 1st Year spells easily. Remember, you can only pick Curses with an Admin's approval!


NB: Spells where the creator's name are listed can only be learnt from those who have been taught it by the creator, unless an Admin gives special permission. In other words, you need at least an indirect link to the person who made up the spell, someone who knew them, to teach it to you. For exclusive spells, see Spell List Additions.
