Teaching at Hogwarts was a nice break from managing her ranch...which was a nice break of its own, if she's being honest. She isn't so sure how good her chances are of landing this job, as not only a vampire but also someone with limited relevant experience, but it's a good sign that she's managed to get an interview. That's always step one. She knocks on the office door.
"Yes, ma'am. I'll say up front that I am a vampire and I do not have any in-hospital experience with healing, so I genuinely appreciate this interview opportunity." Is she off to a good start? She tries to recall the interview tips she'd read to prepare. This was her first real interview in...forever, after all. Well, there was Hogwarts, but she hadn't cared too much about the outcome of that one. "I do have experience with no-maj first aid, for humans and animals, which was valuable to me many times as a ranch hand, which I was for...three hundred years, give or take. What's more important to the research position I applied for is the two thousand and change years I spent traveling the earth looking for a cure for vampirism. I haven't found one, yet, but I have taken extensive notes one the variety of ingredients - plants, animals, fungi, magical and non-magical - I encountered in my search. I believe many of these ingredients and some of the unsuccessful concoctions I made have the potential to be very useful, medically, as long as they are properly prepared and combined."

She would take some notes, nodding along but had a slight frown on her face. "So, you have a great deal of experience with magical ingredients and...doing what with them? Most magical potions require a wand."
