Located on the sixth floor of St. Mungo's is the Pediatric Clinic. This is where wizards and witches go to if there is any problem regarding their young children. The receptionist area is designed for kids to make them less scared of their visit, and there are plenty of toys for the children to play with while they wait.
When he arrived at the unit he just spewed some instructions to the other healers and receptionists, rushing Grace to one of the rooms and getting another healer in there with him. He had a limited amount of time to save her, as he body was reacting really fast to closing off her airways and she was dying. He grabbed a syringe and stuck it into her thigh, needing to get antibodies into her so she could breathe.
She lay on the bed, limp, chest barely rising and falling as she struggled to even remain on this side of life. The antibodies began to work their magic, that was for sure, as she let out a weak groan, eyes fluttering briefly before closing again.
He let out a small breath at that, before working to get an oxygen tube on her and putting it in her nose so she could breathe. He worked with the other healer to give Grace an I.V and get her situated in the hospital bed, they couldn't do much without making sure she was fully breathing.
A few minutes passed as the healers worked, able to breathe normally again, and slowly she began to stir, coughing briefly to clear her throat before her eyes flickered open, looking about the room she was in. "D-D-D-Daddy..?"
"He'll be here soon, but me and the other doctor need to make sure you're okay," He told her, brushing her hair out of her face. He always felt so bad whenever children got sick, most of them not knowing what was going on. "Now, can you tell me and the other healer what you ate or drank that made you sick?"
"Your body didn't like what you drunk, and it got really mad and made you sick," He explained as simply as he could, telling the healer to put something in her I.V. "But once we figure out what made your body upset, we can make sure it doesn't happen again,"
"Five-year-old female child, allergic reaction to two potions she drank for her illness. We had to use a sleeping spell on her because she was starting to panic, and we can't afford to have her hurt herself,"
She glanced at the two adults disbelievingly. "Her file's been accessible from the Lil Bundles database... I checked before I came in. This isn't her first allergic attack. The attack was when she was two years old, pepper-up triggered."
She flipped through the clipboard in her grip, withdrawing Grace's file, and passing it to Sebastian. "I grabbed her file before I came in here." Madi leaned on the footboard of Grace's bed, watching both. "There was one more report as well. When she was four months old, after the terrorist attacks that orphaned her. Pepper-Up and Nausea-reducing potion triggered it that time." Madi glanced at Karsci. "They don't usually tell potential adoptive parents the child's health issues. As such, most don't know until something like this pops up."
"These things happen Mr. Russell, but you did the right thing by calling the hospital and having her brought here," He told him, hoping to calm him down as he flipped through Grace's file. "Mmm, it seems that she is allergic to potions... I'm afraid you'll have to treat any illness she has with muggle medicine," He told Karsci, "You know like, Tylenol or Naproxen Sodium,"
