"Eve, Eve - ungfrú við þig!" She pecked her on the cheek and let go, "Ást, Evie er hér!" yelled up to Allan and the girls, and then started speaking in a softer tone. "Ekki hafa áhyggjur, elsku, þeir might að vera minna en að ánægð með þetta skyndileg breyting, en þeir eru systur þínar. Þeir elska samt þig. Við vissum að þú myndi heimsækja fyrr eða síðar... gefið, hélt að það væri fyrr sem. Hvernig er það, að búa í íbúðinni?"

He went over and embraced his daughter tightly, only letting go reluctantly after Lilja gave him a slight tap on the shoulder to tell him that Evie might suffocate if her kept hugging her like that.

And they still love the traitor best. The pregnant one. The one who's too good for us. The one who somehow got headgirl. Of course... She only really began to tune in when Elara broke the news, and of course, when mamma replied all her attention was on listening and trying not to laugh.
