The Pink Gentleman

Located near Downtown Lincliff, The Pink Gentleman is an LGBTQ+ nightclub and bar that frequently puts on drag shows. Part of The Pink Chain which includes The Pink Lady and The Petit Pink, the club is strictly adults only and therefore nobody under 17 is allowed. With different nights for various music genres, The Pink Gentleman is a must stop on any LGBTQ+'s visit to wizarding Britain.

It'd been a while since Kye and Alejandro had been in stable contact with one another. Had things gone behind closed doors? Maybe. Had Kye since been thinking of any reason he could to keep the older man around? Also maybe. Kye knew that The Pink Gentleman was a popular location for the dubious activities of the crime world so, to the redhead, it was of extreme sense to offer Alejandro a makeshift bouncer job. He'd pay the older man in whatever way he desired in exchange for giving him the small leg up in his job. After a particularly slow night, Kye made his way over to Alejandro with the man's favourite drink in hand, passing it over. "You couldn't look more bored just standing there if you tried," He said with a laugh, flashing the older man his trademark smirk.

Part of Kye always wondered how mundane it had to be to be a PI at times; watching people and theorising things that could be complete nonsense. He knew it'd bore him personally but the redhead had never been as good as academics as his brothers. Business, whilst mentally taxing, seemed to come easier to him. He had half a mind to ask Alejandro how it all was one day but there never seemed to be a good enough time. Perhaps when they were something more than hushed away friends with benefits? Who knew. "Has he had any success?" Kye asked, moving to lean against the wall as he scanned the dance floor to maybe see said guy, "Or is it the lame pickup lines straight guys always use?" He glanced at Alejandro's drink before shaking his head. "Not for me tonight. I promised Keaton I'd go do midnight Quidditch with him and his boyfriend and falling off the broom isn't something I plan to do - or do anything that requires Kingston to investigate me."

Although he felt a little out of place, Reagan always made sure to visit The Pink Gentleman every once in a while. It was half an attempt to stay young and not feel so old but, likewise, it was a way of getting himself out there to find a man to settle down with. He sat at the bar sipping some alcoholic beverage - he hadn't cared when he ordered - as he surveyed the nightclub. He considered getting up and dancing but the fear of losing a good seat kept him in place.

Marik wasn't necessarily a frequent customer of the Pink Gentleman, nor was he necessarily a fan of nightclubs in general. But after a particularly stressful day as a zoologist he couldn't help but have the desire to unwind, and what better way to do so than to attend a nightclub and have a few drinks. Walking up to the bar, Marik minded his own business and walked passed multiple attempts of men trying to dance with him in favour of getting a drink first. After ordering a rum and coke, he turned back to the crowd with his lower back against the bar and surveyed the crowd.

Not really paying too much attention to those around him, it was only on a second survey of the club that Marik caught Reagan's eye. Tall and handsome - that much wasn't up for debate - Reagan found himself drawn to the man. Was it due to their seemingly similar ages? Or just the sheer attractiveness of the other man? He couldn't tell but, nevertheless, he decided to move closer under the guise of ordering another drink. Downing what was left of what he had been drinking, he walked up beside Marik and ordered another drink. Perhaps he was a little naive in banking on Marik speaking to him first but it was worth a shot - Reagan wasn't drunk enough to start initiating conversations with random men.

Truthfully, Marik hadn't noticed Reagan until he was near enough at the bar ordering his drink. The man appeared to be close in age to him, and there was no denying how attractive he was either. After hearing what Reagan had ordered and it ultimately being the same as what Marik himself was drinking, the taller raised his glass a bit as he smiled down at Reagan. "You've got good taste it seems." He said casually, not necessarily looking for a full blown conversation but not being against one at the same time.

Although Reagan hadn't necessarily known how their conversation would progress, he was reassured to see that Marik had initiated the conversation. That meant, to him, there was a mutual interest in one another. "Yeah" He asked, deciding to play it casual, "It's not my usual drink but it seemed to look good so why not try it?"
