A loud voice boomed out over the ground. "Let the First Task begin!" The first doors would slide open for the champions to go inside.

She's painted her nails blue and red, because there's no need to cheer for Hufflepuff and Slytherin (yuck) here. She smirks at the outfits of some people, and sits in front to see the action. she's cheering for Em because a Gryffindor's really the only house capable of winning this tournament.

Nym had a grin very reminiscent to the Cheshire Cat. She laughed at the Gryffindor boys cheering for Em, but she did get to thinking about making a couple Raven signs for the next task. Ecstatic Ravenclaw was chosen, she didn't care that she didn't know Wes personally, or socially. Either way he, and everyone member of her house was why she was here to show her support.

Wesley walked slowly down the stone hallway, wand raised, fully expecting some flying magical creature to jump out at any moment.

No creatures, just a door.

He approached the wall and inspected the stone door up and down. It looked really heavy but he tried his best to push it open anyway.

Only a plaque on the door appeared, although it wouldn't budge.

Wesley would look over the plaque to see if there was any clue's written on it. "Lumos" He would say as he raised his wand closer to it, wanted to get a better look.

With her wand at her side and alight, she inspected the corridor as she walked.

There was a door at the end.

Before tugging at the door, she looked around once more to make sure a Sphinx wouldn't pop out of any hatch to corner her...

No sphinx, but a dusty old door that resisted her opening.

Well this isn't pointless at all... She thought with an internal eyeroll before trying a somewhat stronger version of the unlocking charm; there wasn't time to waste. "Alohomora Duo,"

A weird plaque thing with writing on it. It read - At what point in a jungle is it the way out and not the way in?

Duval[]

This too was similar:A farmer was going to town with a fox, a goose and a sack of corn. When he came to a stream, he had to cross in a tiny boat, and could only take across one thing at a time. However, if he left the fox alone with the goose, the fox would eat the goose, and if he left the goose alone with the corn, the goose would eat the corn. How does he get them all safely over the stream?

Duval thinks long and hard about this one. "Well, take the goose over first, leaving the corn and fox behind, then take the corn but take the goose back, drop the goose off but then get the fox, drop the fox off and then come back for the goose. All three are over safely."

A door engraved with 'The Final Door' stood before him. It was clear that this door was very important. Hence the ultimate test of wit.

" A man and his best friend walk in to a restaurant. They both order seagull soup. The man takes a sip of the seagull soup. He pulls out a gun and shoots his best friend. He then walks out of the restaurant and shoots himself. The man had tasted seagull soup a few days earlier, but it tasted different. The man, his best friend, and his wife were on a shipwrecked island (charted, however) awaiting help. He was asleep. His best friend and wife stayed up talking in the ocean water. When he woke up, he was saddened to hear from his best friend that his wife had been caught in the current, and drowned. The best friend did, however, manage to make some seagull soup for him and the man. Why did the man shoot his friend and himself? "

Renée[]

The door would, once again, resist her, but this one was blank. Maybe she had to do something to reveal the riddle. The door was ever so dirty...

Renee looked at the place where the riddle had appeared before. She noticed it was filthy now, so she pointed her wand at the door and said "Scourgify!" That should do the trick.

No riddle, just a keyhole. Maybe something was missing.

Renee frowned-- no riddle? No key... so alohomora probably wouldn't work. She turned around to face the room. "What am I supposed to do now?" she asked the air.
