Lavinia had briefly thought about bringing up Eleni's texts but decided not to. Instead, she turned her phone off and had turned her attention on Kaia. She was sure the woman meant well. Though she was confused on why she was wanting to get to know Lavinia. Part of her wondered if this meant...well, if it meant Kaia was bringing her up enough that Eleni knew something that Lavinia didn't. But she didn't want to get her thoughts up. Kaia was...Kaia was everything Lavinia wanted. In a friend, that is. Funny, sweet, not too overbearing and demanding. Someone Lavinia could talk too and not worry about anything else. She felt herself. So Lavinia was very happy to ditch Florian to be with Kaia. No offence to Florian, she loved him she did. But he wasn't Kaia. "I can't believe I just spent money to see a movie I produced," Lavinia said as she put down the menu, the realisation hitting her. "I feel like we should get a pass. I know I didn't turn up to the premiere but I should get free tickets to them."

Kaia was confused about why suddenly Lavinia was the one getting all the messages, but considering the disaster that had been Kaia's private Witchagram messages a few moments ago, she knows better than to call Lavinia out on it. She's not a hypocrite. She waits patiently instead, reading over the menu and trying to come to a decision about what she wants to eat for dinner. She doesn't glance back up until she feels a set of eyes on her. No use in making her feel rushed, right? "Everything okay?" she asks out of concern for the other woman, eyebrow raising just slightly. She doesn't mind if Lavinia has to go, but she'd rather she didn't. She really likes these outings with the other woman, no matter how infrequent and occasionally random they are locale-wise. They're a time of relaxation for Kaia. "Don't you get invites to every premiere? A VIP box or something at the theatre the premiere is being screened at? There has to be a way," she replies, sounding disbelieving. Kaia laughs a little, amused by the accidental, humble brag. "Well I loved the movie. Not too much, not too little. It felt realistic and immersing. Made me feel like I was part of the whole thing, which I think is the purpose of the whole production, right?" Kaia beams, "Goal well accomplished. Not that I'd expect anything different from a company you're leading. You're really killing the game."

"Yeah, everything's fine," Lavinia said. She wasn't going to start an argument between Kaia and Eleni and she kind of realised bringing up Eleni might put a dampener on the entire evening. Which Lavinia really didn't want to do. "Oh, yeah, I did. But it was around the time Florian had his baby so I didn't end up going. I gave it to charity," Lav said with a shrug. She wasn't fussed. She'd been to a lot of premieres and she knew she could see it whenever. "And yes, I do hope it was immersive," she said with a grin, lightly teasing Kaia. "Thanks, it's just having a good eye for a story. That's all there is. It's not complicated, you just have to figure out what makes a good story that people." She was dismissing the compliments-she was never good with them. Imposter syndrome at the ready, she guessed. "But I do like that you had a good time. It was more entertaining than I thought. We had a good team for it."

Kaia is a little bit skeptical, but she doesn't want to dampen the mood, so instead she smiles and nods, deciding to take her word as is. "Give them more credit! Your company is full of amazing, talented people. Don't undersell them or yourself," she reprimands lightly, but in spite of her serious tone, she still looks a little bit amused and entertained by Lavinia and her humility. It doesn't reallly occur to her there's more to it; surely someone like Lavinia knows where she belongs, right? "I guess I now know not to turn a blind eye whenever Felton wants to go watch a new movie. I'm sure he'll be ecstatic about that."
