Kijoo Dwyer was a young werewolf surviving in London, simply trying to get by. She was single and had no family or pack to rely on. Kijoo was completely and utterly alone. So when Kim Hansoo paid her even the smallest amount of attention, Kijoo fell hard for the wizard. He was visiting England for a while when he met Kijoo and it was almost to easy to talk her into bed. Of course Kijoo thought it was love - but Hansoo was just having a bit of fun. When Hansoo found out the girl was a werewolf, he dipped out, not wanting anything to do with the "creature." A few weeks after he had fled back to Korea, Kijoo found out she was pregnant.
Desperate for help and support, Kijoo sought a pack. Luckily for her, there was one that had just moved near by. They welcomed her in, genuinely caring about the woman unlike her child's father. Soon before Kijoo was to give birth to her son, a sickness hit the pack. Two of the afflicted died, one of them being someone Kijoo had befriended named Theo. His lover Wren was also in the pack and was completely distraught by the passing of his boyfriend. The whole pack took a hit with the passing of two of their own. Kijoo's unborn baby boy was the only light they had to look forward to.
And then came that light, though he came with unfortunate luck. Kijoo died in child birth, leaving her son to face this cruel world without parents. Victor, the leader of the pack, wanted to send the boy off to a muggle orphanage. He knew it'd be safer for the child as opposed to being surrounded by a pack of werewolves. Wren, who was still grieving the loss of his love, had other plans. He took the baby in, insisting he stay part of the pack. Victor and Wren had it out, but Victor eventually gave in to the other's pleas. Wren named the boy after Theo, calling him Theodore. That sounded to proper though and "Teddy" quickly caught on.
Raised by Wren and the pack, Teddy was surrounded by tough men and women who had seen their fair share of fights. It was almost like growing up in a gang - only, poor Teddy didn't have a physical advantage. His frame was small and his muscles weak. Compared to his pack mates, Teddy was a shrimp. He never gave up though. In fights, in arguments, in anything. The boy was determined to fit in with the pack. Every time he was knocked down, he'd be right back on his feet again. As years passed, he learned to play to his strengths. He used his speed to triumph over his pack family. They had the strength, but he had the agility.
Though he wasn't a werewolf himself, Teddy still acted as one. He was aggressive and brash, though he adopted the good traits as well, like loyalty. Though blood didn't relate him to his pack, they were still his family. If he had it his way, he'd want one of them to scratch or bite him. He wants to be a werewolf more than anything. He doesn't see it as a curse like the rest of the pack. Teddy still doesn't fully understand. He still argues with Wren about it. In one particular spout about it when Teddy was eight, it ended in all the lights being blown in the warehouse they were staying in. That's how they found out that Theodore was a wizard. That's also how he got grounded for two weeks.
At age eleven, Teddy received his letter to Hogwarts and so did his best friend Loki. Loki was a member of the pack too, but he actually was a werewolf unlike Teddy. Teddy is jealous to this day. At school, it was hard for Teddy to make new friends. New people in general overwhelmed him. He'd much rather just stick with Loki and the pack. Even still, he's continuously trying to work on branching out and being more outgoing (and less abrasive). And by that, I mean Loki is forcing him to be more social with new faces.
