Stuff and Things

Indeed, the title is as laid-back and ambiguous as this blog post it would seem. Or is it? Well, here's something direct, the last Potter film is officially the third highest grossing film of all time (for now). But that's been apparent for weeks, hasn't it? Okay then, what else...One thing I've been contemplating for months - something that's probably been an unwise usage of my time - is regarding the Ravenclaw mascot and colours in the Harry Potter films compared to that of the books. It's not a major continuity in the films but nonetheless, why did they change the mascot to a raven and the colours to blue and silver? Does anybody have a concrete answer or at least a guess?
