The poetic spiel he comes out with doesn't impress her, but she doesn't have the courage to roll her eyes, so she just shakes her head. "I-it's a crooked industry m-making addictive substances that aren't b-beneficial w-whatsoever," she says, parroting her dad's words more than anything, but after all the reading she's done, she knows just how damaging cigarettes are. After she's finished, she realises that she's just insulted this boy, and her eyes drop to the floor. "B-but don't let me tell you w-what to do," is her concluding mumble.
